Here's how Boxed Organics works:
We bulk-buy our produce from individual local organic farmers and from an organic food distributor. Deliveries will be made in Montclair every other week and pick up will be between the hours of 3:30 pm and 8 pm Wednesdays. You can choose whether to pick up or have delivered. Our Full Share Box contains a variety of approximately 12-15 different fruits and vegetables each week depending on seasonal availability and rotation. We have a variety of veggies, fruits, salad greens and herbs each delivery. The contents will depend on the season but will always be delicious and varied. Additionally there will be optional add-ons such as dried fruit, honey, nuts at least once a cycle.
Here is a sample week:
5lb red potatoes, 2lb carrots, 2 red spinach, 1 brocolli, 3 Garlic bulbs, 1/2lb mushrooms, 3lb white onions, 1/2lb mixed baby greens and baby spinach, 1/4lb crunchy sprouts, 2 delicata squash, 9 braeburn apples, 4-5 bananas, 5 valencia oranges, 6 starkrimson pears, one dozen organic pastured eggs.
In the summer we source entirely locally so you will see an abundance of local produce such as salad greens, tomatoes, zuchinni, summer squash, plums, apricots, peaches, berries, corn, potatoes, herbs, greens, onions, peppers etc.
With each delivery, you receive an e-newsletter containing this week’s delivery, recipes and helpful hints, further information will be available on our upcoming website. We welcome your contributions.

The cost is $55 for a Full Share (family of 4+).
$33 for a half share (1-3 people).
Delivery $6/time in the Montclair area. Please enquire if you live elsewhere.
There is an annual registration fee of $25 to help cover administrative and reusable box costs.
Prepay for six boxes (i.e. twelve weeks) at a time for $330 full share or $198 half share. This does not include delivery. We require payment in advance.
